GRANGARO offers high-quality and modern equipment for the recycling of polymer waste of all kinds. The machines enable efficient automated processing of LDPE, HDPE, PP plastics to high-quality re-granulate at the output.
Shredder. Designed for grinding film, rigid plastics, pipes, big bags, cans, bottles and other polymer waste. It has low noise levels, high production output, including processing difficult materials such as LLDPE film, woven and non-woven PP wastes. Dust, fumes and odors generated during the grinding process are automatically removed using a special suction and filtering system. The shredder can grind even bulky waste, such as pallets, sheets, containers, etc.
Sink/float separation tank. Unlike competitors' analogues, the GRANGARO Sink/float separation tank not only separates materials by density, but also effectively cleans the crushed plastic from heavy and light impurities. During the passage of the material through the sink/float separation tank, the material is thoroughly washed with friction screws and rotary drums. Heavy contaminants such as sand, metals, PET, settle and are removed from the bottom by screw type conveyors. Light contaminants such as polystyrene foam, wood, various oils, float to the surface and are removed by a stream of water into special pockets.
Dewatering centrifuge. Designed for intensive friction cleaning of raw materials from contaminants and residual moisture after the sink/float separation tank. It can work with different types of raw materials – film, big bags, cans, PE bottles, PET bottles, etc. Due to the centrifugal force of the rotating rotor inside the octagonal screen housing, both contaminants and residual moisture are separated from the plastic. Pneumatic screen cleaning system allows non-stop operations and prevents loss of efficiency. The screw unloading of the “fines” facilitates the unloading of waste and provides a fully automatic mode of operation.
Thermo dryer unit. It is installed in addition to a centrifuge to remove residual moisture from the material. The two-stage design and correctly selected components allow to achive up to 1-2% humidity with minimal energy consumption.
The pelletising line is a key machine for the plastic recycling. The quality of the final product, the pellets, largely depends on the characteristics of the line and the technological process. The formation of a homogeneous pellets is influenced by correctly selected temperature conditions, effective removal of moisture and odors using a vacuum degassing system, a high-quality water ring cutting system, drying and calibration.
