The principal distinguishing feature of this type of processing water is the large content of the fine fractions generated during crushing, shredding and centrifugation of the recycled film. Also high content of sand in agricultural films is a significant problem. For effective and timely removal of fines and sand, specialized equipment and technologies are used. It important to extract fines and sand at the earliest stages of their waste water treatment. Otherwise, the increased content of fines and sand will cause a rapid deterioration of the entire water circulation system (valves, pumps and any other moving parts of equipment), and a large amount of fine fraction will block all subsequent stages of water treatment

The main problem in processing of highly contaminated HDPE bottles and containers is that the processing water will rapidly be highly contaminated with surfactants and chemicals of diverse origin. Rotating discs screen works 24 hours a day. Solid particles fall on the filtering panels not at right angle, but angle wise. Thanks to that the filtration efficiency rises sharply and may be varied by means of controlled disks rotation speed.

Rotating discs screen – is the best solution for mechanical treatment of industrial and agricultural wastewater treatment. Compared to conventional screw and drum screens it removes fine and medium-sized suspended solids more effectively due to its design, which combines two key parameters – minimum mesh size (0.1 mm and over) and maximum water conveyance capacity. Quality of water filtration can be improved tenfold without conveyance loss. Mesh size of conventional mechanical screens is usually 1-3 mm, of Rotating discs screen – 0.1-1 mm.
