The washing and dehydrating centrifuge is the most powerful element of the washing line, used for both cleaning and drying of recyclable plastic waste. The Industrial centrifuges for washing and drying polymers have high production output, they are capable of processing up to 1000 kg of LLDPE film with (up to 40 mm size) and up to 1500 kg of solid plastics (up to 25 mm size).
The working principle is simple- pre-shreded plastic with the help of a screw conveyor is loaded into the centrifuge through the feeding inlet and is immediately subjected to the impact of a powerful rotor. Centrifugal force removes dirt, along with excess moisture through the octagonal screen where it is removed from the machine by special screw conveyors. The screen is constantly automatically cleared. Cleaned and dehydrated material is discharged through the discharge outlet and, via pneumatic transport, carried into the silo or taken for drying with hot air (if necessary).
